KwikSweep Nominated In Three Categories at National Recycling Awards

KwikSweep is thrilled to announce it has been nominated in no less than three categories at this year’s National Recycling Awards!

We’ll be going up against industry leaders like Recolight, Tetronics International and Resource Efficiency Wales in the Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment Innovation category, and we’ll be competing for the Private Sector Waste Prevention Award, going up against big-hitters like Costa Coffee and Argent Energy.

Our fantastic new app has also been recognised in the Private Sector Communications category, and will be going up against Stone Computers, Andigestion and Canary Wharf Management and Veris Strategies for this coveted award.

Marketing manager at  KwikSweep, says, “We’re over the moon to be nominated in these three categories at the prestigious National Recycling Awards. We take our commitment to environmental issue very seriously, and it’s great to see that our efforts have been recognised at the highest level.”

He adds, “We’ll be crossing our fingers for a clean sweep on the night, but we acknowledge that we’re up against some really tough competition. It’s great to see so many innovators in the world of recycling being honoured like this, and we wish all nominees the very best of luck.”

The National Recycling Awards will take place on 28th June at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Last year’s event saw more than 700 key players in the industry gather to find out who would be taking home the ultimate accolades in the recycling world. Similar numbers are expected this year, with people from all points of the supply chain represented.

The awards are a great opportunity to attend the UK’s only cross-sector recycling and waste management event, giving all attendees the chance to mix and mingle to the elite from Britain’s waste and recycling industry. We’re looking forward to networking with multi-industry players, as well as celebrating some of the fantastic achievements we’ve seen over the past twelve months.

The event will also be a fantastic chance for our team to let their hair down! We work incredibly hard to make KwikSweep one of the capital’s leading waste removal services, and we’re very excited to reward the team for all their efforts this year.

There are no less than 45 judges at this year’s event, all hailing from diverse backgrounds, offering a balanced and fair way to evaluate each nominee and decide on the winners. They include:

  • Craig Anderson OBE (Chief Executive, Furniture Re-Use Network (FRN))
  • Sean Allinson-Bulman (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment)
  • Margaret Bates (Chair of the Institution’s Scientific & Technical Committee)
  • Rebecca Cocking (Head of Container Affairs, British Glass)
  • Simon Ellin (CEO, The Recycling Association)
