HOW CAN YOU REUSE WRAPPING PAPER?

Here, we have already talked about how big of a problem wrapping paper is.

So, instead of throwing it away, here are some KwikSweep-approved ideas to give your old wrapping paper new life!

KwikSweep is London’s waste removal go-to company, but we also know a thing or two about how to make recycling fun, and pretty.

  1. Decorate shoe boxes.

We all know very well that every wardrobe has at least one shelf full of empty shoe boxes. So, instead of throwing these boxes away, cover them with your extra wrapping paper for storage you will definitely want to show off!

  1. Colourise shelves and drawers.

You can always use your leftover gift wrap by lining both drawers and shelves. Not only will this lighten up a dark or dreary space with some colour, but having it may even help you stay organised. Iron out any wrinkles, cut your paper to fit, and slide it into the drawer. Double-sided tape or glue are both perfect for making sure your wrapping paper stays where it is meant to be.

  1. Book covers.

Cover books and give your small, personal library a decorator look! We do realise that book cover might not be for everyone out there, but covering books with nice gift wraps can bring style to your home. Also, this is not a messy DIY project, as book cover require no glue!

  1. Frame it, why not?

If you are about keeping things simple, you can frame your prettiest papers from Christmas in a group. This way, you well get a nice, gallery-like wall. If you use different types of paper, we recommend you choose a single colour for the frames.

  1. Wrap other presents!

If you are careful enough when opening your presents, you can reuse your gift wraps over and over. By doing so, not only will you save money, but you contribute to saving the world.
